Hi,
I originally sent this to sparc@, but no luck there. I'm hoping someone
on misc@ will have seen this before and know what's up.
If not, I can definately send one of the V120s that does this to a
developer so they can play around with it.
thanks!
I have 2 Sun V120s that run OpenBSD. One is using 3.5 with GENERIC +
raid support. The other one I'm trying to install. I've noticed that
sometimes the 3.5 one hangs at:
pcons0 at mainbus0
seemingly randomly. Now I'm installing the second V120 using cd36.iso.
It seems to hang fairly reliably at the same point.
I have updated the firmware on both boxes to the latest version offered
by Sun. I see a few references to this that turned up with google
searches, but no actual fixes listed. I have the input/output device
hard set in the prom as ttya, because there is no head on this box.
I'm wondering if this has something to do with the LOM chip on the
V120s?
Any pointers to where I should look?
