What are the BIOS settings for the disk?
I had to disable something in the BIOS for Linux to even see the drive.

Subject: slow I/O on Dell Poweredge 750
Hello,
Does anyone have experience with Dell Poweredge? I installed OpenBSD 3.6
release (plus a few patches) on a Dell Poweredge 750 with a SATA 7200rpm
8MB drive, everything works except the I/O is extremely slow. When
copying a bigger file (>50MB) to another filename the speed is only
about 1MB/s. Changing to mount softupdate slightly speed up to less than
2MB/s, but is still far from the expected ~100MB/s. The Dell support
suggests I should have used the Dell OpenManager, but it seems not
working with OpenBSD so I installed OpenBSD directly. Did I miss something?
Thank you very much,
Richard
