Spam just not login.
athena# cat /var/log/spamd
athena#
its just empty
Just to say that I think this has to do
with spamassasin.
I am NOT running spammassin and there is
somewhere the conflict.
Just a guess dont take my word for it.
Does spamd log anything anywhere? Even in /var/log/daemon? If you are
not using SpamAssassin then you can just ignore all references to it in
the URL I sent.

Gaby I do not use an adsl conection.
I have read your how to and is very informative (do you really use bash?:)
I did all that ya I have touched /var/log/spamd and
even chown _spamd.wheel and probe to put the same 0600 modes in
newsyslogd.conf etc.
I have pf=NO in rc.conf as I running this in a testing server.
I do not use pf.conf but pf_spamd.conf
Thats the only things different from your setup.
No spamd do not log to daemon or any other /var/log/file
I have checked that too many times.
Just leave it so I think needs a reboot so can be started from
rc dont know.
