Same here. I have a Dell PE650 with an SATA controller added,
and a PE1750 with the onboard LSI MegaRAID. I patched both
using an identical sequence of commands, and on reboot the
SATA-based PE650 machine panic'd, while the SCSI-based
PE1750 worked perfectly.
Unfortunately, the one that failed is in production, so I wasn't
able to put much time into debugging, just copied "/bsd" from
the good machine and moved on.
