there is no such thing as a centrino processor or wireless card.
centrino is a marketting plan. if a machine has all three of (1) intel cpu (2) intel host bridge integrated video (3) intel wireless, then it is centrino. if it has less than all 3, then it is not centrino.
it is a game played with laptop vendors to make intel's host bridge chipsets look cheap relative to sis and via and other competitors.

Understands- sure. Practices what he preaches- not in this case. I don't mean to troll the list with this garbage, I was just really surprised to see Theo take a pragmatic PoV with regards to the OBSD laptop of choice, esp. considering all the letters written to vendors this year and the awards he's gotten for being so idealistic when it comes to open drivers. But don't listen to me, I'm drinking the Apple kool-aid with it's closed Broadcom 802.11g crap.
