Atheros 5213 support?

Does anyone have any experiences with the Wistron NeWeb CM9 mini-PCI
wireless card that is based on the Atheros AR5004 chipset? A number of
suppliers of wireless parts for the WRAP and Soekris platforms are
stocking the part. I just want to know if it is worth ordering for my
Soekris 4801. The MAC+BB is the AR5213 - this is the catch...
I've spent about an hour scouring Google and the list archives and the
Soekris lists and various vendor webpages and the source tree. There are
few references to the 5213 and [Open|Net|Free]BSD. Those references are
unclear or ambiguous at best. Some claims are that the AR5004 is
<echoplexer>New New New!</echoplexer>, while other are claiming "backward
compatibility" (for various interpretations of that concept...) with the
5212 (a.k.a. it's really just a tweaked 5212).
If there are any informed individuals out there who wish to opine on the
subject, I'd appreciate hearing from them.
Thanks!
