Thus spake Mike F (openbsd_(_at_)_ibrew_(_dot_)_net) [25/04/05 11:45]:
: I'm having problems using kernel PPPoE in recent snapshots. I'm running
: a OpenBSD/sparc on a SPARCStation 20 and was successfully running kernel
: PPPoE on a snapshot from 3/9/05. After updating (fresh install) to a
: snapshot dated 4/21/05 I get the following errors on boot:
:
: starting network
: spppcontrol: SIOCGIFGENERIC(SPPPIOGDEFS): Invalid argument
: pppoe0: phase establish
: add net default: gateway 0.0.0.1
: pppoe0: phase network
: pppoe0: phase terminate
: pppoe0: phase dead
Is your world in sync with your kernel? I see this error quite frequently
whenever I do a source build, but haven't updated world yet.
