many of us are aware belatedly, that relays.osirusoft.com can not be used
directly anymore for a reverse dns black list till further notice, it will
instead list everthing if at all.
And... looking at a test current on a box I tested it on back on August
16th I see a potential irritation with the port mail/p5-Mail-SpamAssassin
- and I may be mistaken but I didn't see anything to fix it on current
today:
The current port for spam assassin is
version 2.55 and I think it has relays.osirusoft.com as a spam
check, our port in current may load with thier default
configuration set for testing with X_OSIRU_OPEN_RELAY - if so may need to
unset that somehow if the maintainer can do so easily, since osirusoft to
my knowledge is no longer supported. - right?
It's not a show stopper, and if frozed, or near frozen, maybe a warning
in the install message to check the settings? basically if not changed
it adds a few points against the required points, sort of lowering the
threshold, and a poorer hack would be upping the threshold - bad idea ;)
Someone else doing a fresh current might want to verify this for the
maintainer and double check my above and let maintainers know if so - tia.
