DESCRIPTION:
Memoir is a flexible LaTeX class for typesetting general fiction,
non-fiction and mathematical works as books, reports, articles or
manuscripts. Many methods are provided to let you create your
particular design.
COMMENT:
Working on this port I realized that TeX ports does not use
$LOCALBASE/share/{texmf,texmf-local} in a consistent way. I elected
to use $LOCALBASE/share/texmf as I prefer to have texmf-local free
for site specific packages, texmf will be managed by the packaging
system. This makes the most sense to me.
The other ports using texmf-local are:
print/foiltex/pkg/PLIST
print/ppower4/pkg/PLIST
print/prosper/pkg/PLIST
russian/pscyr/pkg/PLIST
I think they should be changed to use $LOCALBASE/share/texmf so all
TeX ports do the same thing. Either that or all ports should be
made to use texmf-local. Just to make it consistent. Comments?
Have a nice day
Morten
