I'd like to announce a new mailing list for Security Announces of our
ports and packages (ports-security_(_at_)_openbsd_(_dot_)_org). Security Announces will
be called OPSA (OpenBSD Package Security Advisory)(e.g. OPSA_20040501).
These advisories will only contain information about stable braches. If
you use a current system it is better to follow changes on the
ports-changes mailing list or in the unoffical VuXML, because changes
may differ in different braches. (Generated HTMLs are availabe at
http://www.vuxml.org/openbsd). We will try to provide as much
information as we can in each OPSA. There will be instructions about
updating the vulnerable packages and many more. I hope this will help
you out and you can follow security issues in connection with our ports
and packages easily. Please visit http://lists.openbsd.org if you want
to subscribe to the list.
Best Regards
