Actually, I just reproduced this myself on amd64. I removed patches
6.2.401-6.2.447 and I no longer get the problem, so it must have been
introduced in one of those patches. Since this is now determinely not
OpenBSD-related, I'll probably take this to the Vim people, if it
hasn't already been addressed since 6.2.447.
