Marc,

You are correct.  Somehow one machine got futzed up and the 'make build'
stage was failing because xargs wouldn't accept a -r option.  I hand
installed the new xargs and did a successful build.

Thanks for all the work with the pkg_* utilities it is making life with
ports much easier.
