Having carefully updated a separate copy of etc26 by hand, I turned to
base26. I found a copy of some etc directories, all empty. Why?
While the empty directories should be harmless, they are also confusing.
There is one called disklabels that is not in etc26, and also one called
isakmpd that is not in etc26. But shouldn't they be? Or are they unused
ghosts of Christmas past?
Note that etc26 has photuris and ssl, but base26 does not. That appears
to be a better practice.
The others are kerberosIV, mtree, ppp, sliphome, and uucp; all existing
in etc26, empty here, and not empty there.
Finally, this is where the missing termcap is located. It's just a link.
I understand why it would be here, as it points to /usr/share/misc/termcap,
which is also in base26.
