Can OpenBSD 2.6 or CVS pull handle 1 gb and above memory sizesS

Subject says it all... can Open BSD deal with greater than 512 mb
n440bx pentium III motherboards we just upgraded to 1 gb and now have
isadmaattach panic cannot create DMA map messages when trying to boot
2.6 kernels (ftp archive load)
any ideas?? or is this a resolved issue in current CVS
