Many people have asked for info on that paper.

"Scheduler Activations: Effective Kernel Support for the User-Level Management
of Parallelism" by Thomas E. Anderson, Brian N. Bershad, Edward D. Lazowska,
and Henry M. Levy

It appeared in ACM Transactions on Computer Systems, Vol. 10, No. 1, February
1992 on pages 53-79. I'm pretty sure it's available on the web in ps or pdf
form but I'm not sure where(probably Anderson's site...think he's still at U of
Washington).
