Hi,
I mailed Theo some weeks ago about this, but got no answer yet, so I'll
try again, this time to tech.. whoever this is.. :-)
I have a working ARM32-platfrom here (just an ARM6, which is 30 MHz
machine, but nevertheless.. ;-) ), a working installation of
NetBSD-current and always some time to work a little bit on it.
What I don't have is an expertise in Programming, neither System, nor
User-Land..
But as time permits I go on learning 'C' and Assembler afterwards
(yes, I know some, but that's nearly nothing, the rests from those old
Commodore 64-times..).
So maybe I can help to get a port starting or try it even on my own..
Would that be of any help ?
And before you say : 'Yes ! Proceed !' I'd like to know where to
start.
I found those extremely old code from NetBSD/arm32 in the src-tree,
would that be a good starting point ? Just compiling it ? Bringing it
to the newest state copying it from NetBSD ? Questions after
questions.. :-)
Hope I can help a little and if my knowledge is absolutly under the
level I'd like to know as well... I'll work on it, but as I'm no
Borg-Drone this will take it's time.
Thanks for any comments,
--
Jan-Uwe
