Hi there,
obsd version is 2.7.
For demonstration purposes i use the same config as described in
raidctl(8) which is a raid5 with only 3 disks and one spare.
Configure the raid works fine (raidctl -C, -I, -i is OK).
Here is what the thing looks at after the build:
# raidctl -s raid0
Components:
/dev/sd2e: optimal
/dev/sd5e: optimal
/dev/sd8e: optimal
When runing raidctl -u to unconfigure the device the kernel (generic with
hardwired sd, scsibusses and ahc plus raid pseudo) crashes.
uvm_fault (0xbla)
kernel: page fault trap, code=0
Stopped at _rf_DispatchKernelIO+0x1e8: ...
I made a crash dump from the debugger, but i cant read the smbols :(
(gdb) target kcore /var/crash/bsd.0.core
#0 0x1000 in ?? ()
IB plan to use this raid device in a production environment :)
Any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance,
--Armin
