80GB IDE HD - trouble

Hi there,
i just added 2 Maxtor 98196H8 IDE drives (about 80GB) to my obsd 2.7
fileserver. However obsd does only use 32GB capacity. I have tried to
change the total sectors with disklabel, but any increase causes an IO
error while doing newsfs. Is there a new limit with eIDE ?
I checked the archive, but only found this link (which talks about a 137
GB limit):
