ahc is the driver for some of the Adaptec SCSI cards.

Hmm, UKC>, Well, this is interesting...

UKC>verbose <this is good>

Ok, now I did not mention that the SCSI bus connecting said drives happens
to be an Adaptec ISA 152X SCSI card.
The BIOS has some kind of SYMBIOS SCSI support, but no chips or
interface connector I can see. I'll look into that first.

After learning a bit about UsrKernConf <UKC>, I turned on the verbose mode, and found the hangup occurs on isapnp0 interrogation.

OK, This problem has to do NOW with the 'isapnp0' not 'ahc*'

UKC>disable isapnp0 ... and QUIT resumes the booting, but then I get a Panic because the Kernel assumes that the filesystem is on sd0a when it is supposed to be on sd1a <where I installed it..>

I still have to take a minute to figure this multi-boot thing out with 2 SCSI drives, Win95 on sd0 and oBSD on sd1.

As for DMESG for PowerPC -- Cannot do easily.
No-floppy, no kbd, nothing except the programmers reset and power. :(
Heck I cannot even boot from the Network unless I have an Intel
Box to netboot from... "The Horror! The Horror!"

As for DMESG for Intel P1 -- Please refer to PR::1623 the DMESG
from that snap-shot is similar except that 2.9 is the kernel
as opposed to 2.8. Similar problem, except that it is the BSD kernel
as opposed to the Floppy kernel.

Alas, the DMESG for mine will be different than PR::1623, now that I see the difference in verbose mode in UKC> Will attempt to update soonest as I figure out how this stuff works...

"Doing" when I get a minute at home... There is no "try".
