has anyone out there gotten GCC 3.0 to build
successfully on OBSD 2.9? About 8 or 9 hours into
make bootstrap, I get parse errors in the
makefile. If I were smart, I would have written
down the line number and the error but that would
have made too much sense. So, what am I missing
here? Is there something else I need (don't
need) to build this on OBSD?
mkdir gcc3 ; cd gcc3
../gcc-3.0/configure --enable-threads=posix
make bootstrap
(insert parse errors here)
make install
it's prolly not the brightest idea in the world
but I ran make install even though make bootstrap
failed. It's been going for about 10 minutes and
I am curious to see what kind of errors I get
this time.
