Re: building gcc



that ports tree idea is a last resort for me as I
have no network connection under openbsd.  I'll
try using gnumake (gmake) and see if that makes a
difference.  If not, then I have no choice but to
try and get that orinoco wavelan card working and
configured.  But here is the question... as of
right now, have any of you actually built gcc 3
and gotten it working?  
By the way, with the version of gcc that is
installed with OBSD 2.9, is there any particular
reason I have to tell it where to find my posix
thread libraries?  I can get it to work but I
just found it a little weird that I had to do it
manually.  Maybe threads are not enabled by
default?  Oh well, no -lpthread for me...
