hello,
as i disabled SUPPORT_DOT, i experienced failure of "make build".
a list offending makefiles is attached to the bottom. these use dot as
separator for user/group to do chown to. o took my time and passed them
all with vi, changing dots to colons. after that, "make build" went
successfully (it took 4h17m on my celeron 300 (not A)). and yes, all
kerberos (V was disabled any way), YP, XFS, S/key, tcp wrappers in
the daemons gone away :-) i could not use all of this at my side any
way. no kerberos warnings at login time tells me, i did rebuild the
system :-)
the things i've checked yet works with dot in usernames.
