I did follow the upgrade FAQ, and did check the archives but was unable to
find the problem. I was not expecting the error at that point (according
to the FAQ, the update of the protected dirs. should be done after running
'make build').
I just found the reference to mailing misc instead of tech, so
sorry to everyone on the list.

In other news thanks to everyone who made the decision to integrate the
dachb0den source-mods and include their tools into the port tree
