pcmcia card error

When I insert a Linksys 10/100 PCMPC100 NIC card after or before boot
of my GENERIC kernel since yesterday I'm get the following message
without the card coming on. 

cbb1: bad Vcc request. sock-ctrl 0x22, sock_status 0x20000711

I tried booting using the install floppies of -current and previous
releases with which the card used to work just fine but the same error
occurs.
Currently running OBSD_3.1 current
I dont have another card to test wether its the controller or the card
itself thats bad. If someone had a similar problem, would surely like
to hear there story.
