Okay, I applied the patch and ran 'make build' in XF4. The problems show
up exactly like before. I will now search the bug tracking system
mentioned above more thoroughly for the flickering effect.
The virtual screen however seems to be there, there is just no
possibility to scroll along anymore. Found out that when maximizing a
window.
If anyone here has experienced similar problems, please let me know.
If I don't hear anything in a while, I will perhaps open a bug report
at freedesktop.org for this issue.
