Hi,
recent X snaphots for sparc and macppc have the X render extension
enabled at 8bpp in the wsfb driver.
This will make Gtk+ applications look better (and even work around a bug
in Cairo at 8bpp when render is not available), but will also change the
behaviour of other X applications since the list of available visual
is different.
This change is also more consistent with what other driver do at 8bpp.
If you rely on X at 8bpp using the wsfb driver, please test recent
snapshots and report back any success/failure with your favourite
applications.
