As promised, here's the update:

*AU touring: it's all but set in stone, so the dates I've been listed
repeatedly are no longer TENATIVE!!!! (so this means that you can celebrate)

*The Superchunk EP - here's the tenative situation: 5,000 CD's are being
pressed, 1000 are going to be mail-order only and the other 4000 will be sent
to a few selected stores.  (the specific stores are unknown as of now).  So,
even though the EP won't be mailed until Oct. 22, you can mail in an order
now to get your copy.  Make out checks to Merge Records
on the order form, write down: Superchunk - The Laughing Guns - $8.00
...and while you're at it, also order the new Portastatic EP, also out Oct.

write down: Portastatic - Spying on the Spys 7" - $3.00
shipping and handling - $1.50
= total $9.50 (or $12.50 for both)
