MISC. INFO:
+ the reason that Superchunk's first, self-titled album has been hard to find
is that Matador has been planning a re-release of it - but someone lost the
artwork...which is why, unless you look hard, you'll only find a cassette
version - with absolutely no info, as those of us who have it know.
+ There's a indie label catalogue out of Los Angeles called Insomnia Records
who carries some Superchunk releases as well as several CHUNK t-shirts.
 (they also have cool stuff from other indie bands).  To contact:

JUST BECAUSE IT'S INTERESTING:
+ In the movie "Heathers," Christian Slater asks Winona Ryder if she's "going
to superchunk that" as she is fingering a bag of corn-nuts in a convenience
store. Not band related, but interesting.
+ Turner Network's new Cartoon Network channel now has a show called "Super
Chunk" - which is a 3hour slot on Saturdays (4pm) that features shows from
one specific cartoon character, a different one each week - hence a "super
chunk" of the character.  Not band-related, but interesting.
