Today has been unbelievable. McCain gets frisky and tries to pull off the ol' We Need to Suspend Politics For the Nation's Good maneuver, which happens to coincide with some seriously bad poll results for him, and two accelerating controversies, one having to do with his campaign chief getting dough from Fannie and Freddie as of August 2008, the other with Palin's incredible inaccessibility to any sort of press scrutiny.
It's an attempt to shift the momentum, which is clearly with Obama. Letterman viciously mocks (go Dave).
Oh, and about that debate Friday?
This.
Unbelievable, man.
