Holy shit! How crazy it is that Brock Lesnar has to cut weight to be a heavyweight?

As I've said once or twice, I thought that Lesnar would beat Randy Couture. I got the outcome right, but the details gloriously fucking wrong! This was a beautiful match.

I thought that Lesnar would outwrestle Couture and ride out a decision victory. Instead, Couture outwrestled Lesnar! He stuffed Lesnar's takedown attempts, and when the fight did hit the ground, he nullified Lesnar's offense and got back to his feet.  He was winning the fight until he got caught with a perfectly placed right hook that turned out the lights and ended the fight.

As I watched Randy kick Lesnar's ass for a round and a half, my heart actually swelled in my chest.  If he had pulled out a victory, I would have wept like a baby.  Jesus Christ, that guy is my hero.

I hope Lesnar fights Nogueira next.  That fight will be epic.
