Hi Mick. The list is working, I guess I'll give my 2 cents regarding Vietnam to keep the activity up. It seems to me that it is in fashion these days to bash everything that the guys put out. Let's face it, nothing can be as great as the good old tunes. We have grown to accept, and love, even the few low-points that have been released, e.g., [insert your own track here]. I can't remember if this has always been the case. Personally, no NO track has been an instant hit with me, with the exception of Regret, most have matured over time. As for Vietnam, I like it. I don't need a NO track to be this cult-classic that makes every acclaimed music-critic drool with excitement. I find enjoyment in a simple and catchy sing-a-long track, even if it fades away (or not) into the music-cemetary after a while. To me, Vietnam is a simple and catchy song that makes me feel good and happy, despite the topic. It is, right now, a track that I feel may very well be one of the summer tracks of 2003 for me personally (another one is Blinded By The Light by Funkstar Deluxe). Is it their best song ever? Nope. Is it their worst song ever? Nope. Is it the best song they've released this year? Yepp. Is it better than nothing? Yepp. Then again, I am also a fan of Kylie Monigue... !) It's a double CD with the usual cast of characters: Felix, ladytron, Miss Kitten, etc. But, the part that caught my eye: "FPU's explosive "Racer Car" highlights the harder, techno-oriented side dubbed "X-Treme" while the "Plastique" disc slips from Tee's electro remix of the New Order chestnut "Confusion" into a 4 A.M.-at-a-gay-disco-in-Berlin vibe that simply oozes sweat and pheromones. You might wanna shower afterwards." Enjoy... ITS distributing the information, and getting people to participate.. i look forward to your suggestions, and opinions, and putting up more rare 'new order' tracks soon... later | || | || || | | ne gati ve 1 'the perfect kiss' ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 24 Apr 2003 14:25:50 +0100 From: Brian McGee Subject: (Fac33) Solitude The live boot track "Solitude" that's been circulating for years is often described as Skullcrusher with lyrics.
