I may have a fair amount of time and opportunity this summer to start straighten things out - timing-wise... > 12": US 1994 (Qwest PRO-A-7622) [promo] > 4:59 Bizarre Love Triangle (12" alternate) Please understand that the times in the Discography are most often shown based upon the following information: 1) The listing on sleeve/label 2) People have timed it 3) Educated guess (1) may be adjusted if there is an obvious error (different mix, more than ~20 seconds discrepancy, etc.) (2) can be very different, especially if taken from vinyl. Speed of the turntable plays a small role, but more important is the start and stop time. Stop time can be especially tricky if the track is fading out. (3) is based on the same release in the same country, e.g., if the track time is known for the CD5, the 12" may very well list the same tracktime. The same goes for a specific mix. Also, if a release have the same tracklisting as an existing item, it will be placed with that existing item (e.g., releases from different countries, or re-releases). Now, the US Qwest promos almost always have tracktime info, that is almost always the time listed in the Discography. Also, I don't want to discredit anyone (most other discographies were originally based upon the New Order Discography at http://www.niagara.edu/neworder) but some other discography resources may not always show the proper information...
