I used to get Ceremony at work starting in 1997, and before that at my college and had a lot more time to speak (i looked at the archives!) Now I'm married and have to much junk mail to sort through after work at home. Did enjoy meeting you at Area One, Al. The band was deader than they are now for years after Get Ready came out, but the list was busier than ever back then. Eddz always likes to kick around a controversial subject. (What ever happened to > that comic/graphic novel thing he was working on?) Congrats to the marriage, Mr.Honda... ;) I'm moving to Sweden in a couple of weeks. If you're ever over there, let me know. The same goes for Vincent and the rest of the Area:Oners. Yeah, list is quiet. But we are all busy elsewhere... Distribution within the US started a week or two ago. We're still waiting for UK/European distributors to get ready (bad pun intended), via the fab Mark Ramses Condom. BTW I haven't figured out how to sort our Australian and Brazilian list members who are interested in participation - does anyone in that area want to help with local distribution? The 4-CDset project is really good shit. x Mike In a message dated 4/26/04 1:45:31 AM, erik.myrhage@bohmans.com writes: << I think what people are really interested in is new songs, a new album - the future. I checked the discography, but am at work so > can't spend much time looking elsewhere. I have recently received reports about this. If it's a legit copy, it is with 99% certainty a mispress. A previously unknown one (though, I'm not familiar with the JD discography). One way to check it is to look at the groove-notations on both sides of the vinyl. If it's a mispress, the groove-notation should be identical to some officially released versions BM and Closer. The only other known JD/NO mispress that I'm aware of is the LWTUA/BM 12". Then there's also the Hurt/Oberkorn (by Depeche Mode) 7" pressed in 8 copies. Supposedly, there are also some mispressed CDs, but I can't think of any right now. Let me know if you want to trade it... :) T. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 28 Apr 2004 12:14:31 -0400 From: "Neil" Subject: Re: (Fac33) Blue Monday w/ Closer B-Side - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ivarsson, Torbjorn (T)" To: Sent: Tuesday, April 27, 2004 9:35 AM Subject: RE: (Fac33) Blue Monday w/ Closer B-Side > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Neil [mailto:nbradb@hotmail.com] > > Sent: Tuesday, April 27, 2004 8:48 AM > > > > Anyone ever heard of a copy of BlueMonday with the first side > > of Closer as > > the B-Side? For the benefit of everyone else, and hopefully for my benefit if someone can shed some light on this possible mispress, here is some more info I obtained today. - - The outer sleeve has the floppy disk cut outs, and the inner sleeve is black. - - Side A shows FAC-73-A and the word "Townhouse" in the run out groove. - - Side B shows FAC-T-25B3 (and apparently contains the entire A-side of "Closer") - - Record and sleeve are in good condition but not mint. - - Record is located in the UK. Is this enough information to identify the record, and determine scarcity and value? Any other info required that I might be able to obtain? Thanks, Neil. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 30 Apr 2004 01:10:50 -0400 From: "Nicolas LeBlanc" Subject: (Fac33) Hum, btw Mr Frye... BTW Mr Frye.
