[please refrain from copyright arguments/etc]... i'm just interested in seeing what people think 'recycle' should have been like, and re-creating it as a 'fan' project... hope to hear from everyone soon.. later || | | || || ne gative 1 ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 18 May 2004 20:39:41 -0700 (PDT) From: David Sultan Subject: (Fac33) Test __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Unfortunately, I still have not figured out how to sort the 5 or 6 members from Australia and South America who were interested... I've been a bit lazy about it, but then again some people have contacted me and then not responded either. Laziness abounds :-) But overall, I think that about 95% of the members who were interested did participate in the copying and/or consuming of the 4 disc set. I've received positive comments from many people, and I've had to remind each of them that it's Raj who set this up, and not me - I was just there for distribution management. Finally, anyone who is still interested in receiving copies can contact me, because there are people still more than happy to make copies/etc for others on this list. x Mike In a message dated 5/18/04 5:57:46 PM, rajg@nol.net writes: << anyways, i'm glad to hear some people are getting their copies of 'international 2', and are enjoying the tracks on it.. i'm sorry that the distribution scheme i had worked out, was not really feasible, since i had to work on it up front, and my situation would not allow me to personally follow up on it (that, and my computer crashed, causing me to lose 4 months of email)... >> ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 19 May 2004 10:17:26 -0700 From: Sam Habash Subject: Re: (Fac33) [update] -> _recycle?_ On Wed, May 19, 2004 at 09:55:31AM -0400, Nicolas LeBlanc wrote: > Not to start any other debate here, but I believe that was exactly what the > New Order Anthologies were about... except of course they were mp3 based, so > 3 CDs instead of 30+ Yeah, the idea of attempting to distribute 30 CDs worth of material *at once* is daunting to say the least.
