matt and kristin and erika have been helping me paint the closets and the porch. i don't have any closet pictures, but here's one of the porch and alllll the painting supplies and beer empties. beer has been a very important part of august
when we pulled out the toilet to pull out the bathroom floor, we discovered we had to replace the sink and toilet cutoff valves with new ones. however, the toilet soil pipe, collar, and flange had some 'disintegration' issues. the collar and flange had to be removed. we got a very nice plumber to do this for us. he even left us the old parts! mmmmmm. lead.
we got the lumber for our new baseboard in. i measured all the rooms and cut the board to length with our NEW MITER SAW. here it is, giving you that coy 'i am shy, yet incredibly useful' look.
