i have returned from san jose. zac has been busy in my absence. today 
started one of many days of busy for both of us. zac did the sink. yay.
plumbing!  i did knobs.

the high cabinet next to the fridge isn't finished because ikea's shipping
partner has so far ruined two different cabinets. zac was able to make one
relatively complete cabinet out of the two, but had to wait for assistance
before fastening it to the wall.

the countertop you see is actually the broken segments of the high cabinet
side panels, which zac cut down to shape and threw on the base cabinets for
temp purposes. didn't stop us from putting in our sink, however - we'll just
re-plumb when we get the new countertop.
<p>
the base cabinet by the fridge needs to have the door installed because 
we have yet to figure out the drawer configuration, but we're mostly done
with cabinets for the time being. add some toekicks, and they's done!

next: countertop, probably in two weeks.
